At The Celebrity Sauce Co. we’ve been working with life insurance company Polly.co.uk on a series of social media campaigns to help them raise awareness of the importance of future-thinking for families. Their affordable life insurance is steered towards mums and therefore we’ve been teaming them with well-known celebrity mothers to broaden the message. And our most recent collaboration was pretty spicy…

We’ve got relationships with celebrities across a broad range of industries from television and entertainment to sports and music – and it was the latter that helped us land the partnership that we wanted (what we really, really wanted.)

Mel B – yep, the not-so-subtle hints make sense now don’t they? –  was the latest celebrity mum to get behind Polly.co.uk’s amazing work and front a social media campaign. The Spice Girls singer (we’re trying to hold together our excitement for a possible 2023 reunion) has unsurprisingly amassed 1.5million followers on Instagram and there’s not many in the world that don’t know who she is.

With such a significant status and most importantly for this campaign, the doting mother to three children, she was the perfect person to step up the heat for Polly.co.uk.

For the partnership, Mel B featured in a video where she addressed other mothers out there about the importance of thinking about the hard-to-face things in order to financially protect children should the unthinkable ever happen.

The singer also spoke about her own family, how much they mean to her and highlighted the key areas Polly.co.uk can cover. With a confidence that comes from years spent on stage and a relatable voice that comes from motherhood Mel B executed a thought-provoking and impactful campaign that Polly.co.uk were thrilled with.
