Judy Murray OBE and Hayley McQueen are a game, set, match for Richmond HR Forum

It was an all-Scottish, all-sporting end to this year’s 12th annual Richmond HR Forum as tennis coach Judy Murray OBE was joined and interviewed by Sky Sports News presenter Hayley McQueen.

The pair closed the day’s forum which saw delegates and suppliers in attendance from across the HR industry. After a packed programme of keynotes, interactive workshops and think tanks, the event culminated with an engaging talk and Q&A session.

Judy has coached many players at national and regional level and is the mother of tennis greats Jamie and Sir Andy Murray. An advocate for the sport, she is a trustee of the Judy Murray Foundation – a charity which seeks to improve tennis opportunities across Scotland. For her dedication to the sport and to charity work, she was appointed an OBE in 2017.

A fantastic addition to the Richmond HR Forum she inspired and entertained audiences with her anecdotes which drew on her years in the sport.

Guests were then given the opportunity to engage with Judy during the Q&A part of the session which Hayley McQueen was part of. The TV sports presenter is currently the lead anchor on Sky Sports News as well as the presenter of both the Scottish Premiership and Scottish Cup.

With conducting interviews being just part of her job, there was no doubt that Hayley was the perfect and most confident person to lead the Q&A. She relayed questions from the audience to Judy and added her own sporting insight into the interview.

Together Judy and Hayley made a powerful duo making this year’s Richmond HR Forum truly ace. Sorry, we couldn’t resist.
