Kate Humble Invests in Netwealth App Campaign

We were excited to secure broadcaster and writer Kate Humble for branded content on behalf of wealth management app Netwealth.

The app, which allows clients to track wealth, plan for financial goals and access expert investment management all in one place, sought to increase awareness of their services through branded content. Including a celebrity in this type of campaign grabs the attention of audiences or readers and encourages them to stop and digest the content.

So, we got to work finding them a relevant celebrity and found a successful match in Kate. The broadcaster divides her time between presenting for television, writing, and running a rural skills centre on her farm in the Wye Valley.

Kate has built an extremely successful career having presented a huge roster of shows from Animal Park to Springwatch and Lambing Live. Escape to the Farm follows Kate’s life on her farm while her book Home Cooked shares recipes from her farm’s produce.

With a busy lifestyle (she often does a day’s work before the rest of us get out of bed!) Kate sees the benefit of having an easy-to-use platform to manage her finances. Her involvement with Netwealth’s campaign was a natural and authentic fit for both the app and Kate.

The content included an article and video centred around financial clarity and the ways in which the app has helped Kate track her finances and even plan for retirement. The article which featured quotes from Kate was used on prestigious titles including TheTimes.co.uk, the Sunday Times Money Section and The Times’ Facebook.

The collaboration between the two was just another example of how including a celebrity into your campaign can give it the boost it needs to be seen by the masses.
