Love is in the air (fryer). Clodagh McKenna teams up with QVC for Ninja offer

A phenomenon of the last few years, it seems you’re never too far from a conversation about someone’s love affair with their airfryer. From overhearing talk on trains from one commuter to another, to sharing recipes over a night in with the girls, there’s no doubt been a boom in the kitchen appliance.

In fact, a new study from QVC, who we recently had the pleasure of working with, revealed that almost half of Brits now own an AirFryer and a quarter (27%) don’t yet but are considering purchasing one.

Armed with tonnes of research stats and keen to highlight their exclusive offer on Ninja’s Foodi Max 9.5L Dual Zone Air Fryer with Smart Cook, televised shopping channel QVC sought the help of a celebrity chef to take on the role of a spokesperson and help raise awareness of the offer.

With air fryers topping the list for most-wanted kitchen gadget of 2023, QVC’s offer aligned perfectly with those early-bird Christmas shoppers keen to purchase practical gifts that will go down a treat with the recipient.

Having worked with celebrity chefs in the past and with broad industry contacts we secured QVC a wholesome partnership with resident This Morning chef Clodagh McKenna. As well as her work on the popular daytime show, she is the author behind eight cookbooks with the most recent ‘In Minutes’ sharing speedy recipes for those with little time.

When not writing or broadcasting, Clodagh spends her time running her sustainable farm often delighting her 313k Instagram followers with insight from farm and family life along with recipes using freshly harvested produce.

QVC were delighted with the partnership and quickly set her to work by setting up a broadcast day with a number of media outlets. Speaking in the interviews, Clodagh addressed the increasing boom in air fryers and highlighted the number of benefits they boast, which include cutting down cooking time, offering an oil-free way to cook and their ease of use. She urged people to take QVC up on their discounted Ninja offer and even gave insight into how using an air fryer over the Christmas period will take time and stress out of the festivities.

To conclude her work with QVC and further demonstrate the benefits of the Ninja Foodi Max, Clodagh concocted her own recipe using the appliance and shared the delicious winter squash and carrot bhajis with fluffy flatbreads recipe to her Instagram feed. Here it received great engagement and was the perfect platform to raise awareness of the time-sensitive offer.
