Whether it’s a full English with all the trimmings, a perfect stack of pancakes, or a quick bite before rushing out of the door, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. So, to encourage everyone to celebrate it, Milk & More launched their first ever Breakfast Week. And as always, at The Celebrity Sauce Co. we were on hand to serve up a celebrity for the campaign.

Milk & More is one of the country’s leading online grocery and milk doorstop delivery services. They combine the best of the traditional milkman, with the convenience of online shopping with orders delivered to doorsteps before 7am!

Launched by Milk & More, Breakfast Week was an opportunity to get everyone inspired, share expert tips, recipe ideas and raise awareness of the delivery service’s offering. To help them boost their campaign, Milk & More were looking for a celebrity spokesperson to take part in a broadcast day, generate a social post and share recipe tips for use on their site.

We matched them with celebrity chef Matt Tebbutt who is best-known for presenting BBC1’s Saturday Kitchen and Food Unwrapped on Channel 4. In his element speaking about food and sharing creative ideas with fellow foodies, Matt was the perfect person for the job.

During the broadcast day he was interviewed by a number of stations where he shared a number of research findings from Milk & More, spread the importance of breakfast as a meal and drove listeners to the Breakfast Week website for exclusive tips and recipes.

He also used his passion for food by sharing his own tips for poaching the perfect eggs, pimping porridge and creating the ultimate bacon sarnie. These, and others were used on the website.

Finally, as part of the campaign Matt took to his own Instagram account (which boasts a sizzling 69.9k followers) to upload a video launching Milk & More’s Breakfast Week campaign.

The result was a celebrity and brand partnership that went together like eggs and bacon. Or smashed avo on sourdough if you’re feeling fancy.
