Established in 1974 by John Redrow, leading British Housing company Redrow Homes celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2024. Throughout the year, they enjoyed numerous celebratory events including launching a national campaign to find the longest standing owner of a Redrow home.
Part of the celebrations also included an anniversary conference that looked back on highlights from the business’ 50 years and also looked ahead to the future. To give his professional insights and add a special touch to the event, we secured Paul Johnson CBE as a keynote speaker.
Paul is a British economist and public policy expert, widely recognized for his work in economic research and analysis. He is the director of the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) – an independent think tank focused on economic policy and public finance in the UK. His experience in debating taxation, public spending and social policy has seen him make significant contributions to the industry and led to him being awarded a CBE in 2020 for services to economics and public policy.
During the Redrow 50th anniversary conference, Paul spoke on his expectations and forecast for the housing market over the next four-five years. And it’s his engaging delivery and thought-provoking insights that make him a great speaker, which is why we knew he’d be the perfect match for Redrow.
