SHEREE MURPHY TALKS FROZEN FOOD FOR FAMILIES WITH BIRDS EYE

Family favourite Birds Eye thawed out the misconceptions around frozen food with their recent celebrity campaign.

Along with sharing insight into the benefits of frozen food such as convenience and cost-saving, they wanted to emphasise that their fish especially, often offers the same nutritional value as buying fresh. And what better way to get the message out there than with a broadcast day?

The brand, who we all know and love (our mouths are watering thinking about the fish finger sarnie we’re definitely having for dinner), turned to The Celebrity Sauce Co. to provide them with a celebrity figure who could speak alongside Birds Eye’s very own Nutritionist and Group Nutrition Leader.

Our brief was for the celebrity to be family-orientated, passionate about cooking and confident when talking publicly. And we paired them with someone that ticked all those boxes and more.

British actress Sheree Murphy is a mother to four and was our perfect match for the Birds Eye broadcast day.

When she’s not busy mumming, she’s busy making tasty homemade recipes which she shares with her 60.8k followers on Instagram. Her love for cooking became public knowledge when she impressed on Celebrity MasterChef. So, family – tick. Food fanatic – tick. Confident speaker – well, she’d be a pretty bad actress if she wasn’t!

During the broadcast day Sheree spoke about her experience of being a busy mum and how incorporating frozen food into her children’s diet is not only great for when time is short, but an important way to ensure they are getting a nutritional meal.
