TV PSYCHOLOGIST EMMA KENNY REDEFINES ‘HAPPY HOUR’ WITH MARIGOLD

When you think of ‘Happy Hour’ you probably think of those 2for1 cocktails at your local bar or restaurant (is it the weekend yet?) But, in a recent study and campaign in which The Celebrity Sauce Co. paired with TV Psychologist Emma Kenny, Happy Hour was redefined as being moments the UK got genuine happiness from during lockdown

Leading household cleaning brand, Marigold, recently created The Happiness Index – a survey that sought to find out exactly what activities put a smile on the face of Brits during lockdown.

Their findings included interesting info such as ‘57% of Brits get a ‘cleaning high’ after they’ve scrubbed the house spotless’ – we must admit, ‘Brits are most likely to be at their happiest on a Saturday’ and more specifically ‘3.05pm was the start of the UK’s new ‘Happy Hour’. And it was this last fact that urged Marigold to work with Emma Kenny, who could give their research findings more of a boost when they sent them out to press.

To help give Marigold’s research an expert touch, Emma provided them with her top tips and tricks on how Brits can make the most of the new ‘Happy Hour’. Her tips, which included, ‘practicing gratitude’, ‘surrounding yourself with positive people’, ‘carry out a random act of kindness’ and ‘deep clean your home’.
